Talons Are Chia Asset Tokens “CATs”
CATs are tokens created on the Chia blockchain that follow the CAT1 standard. This is similar to the ERC-20 token standard on the Ethereum network. To access a particular CAT, you can import the asset ID into a compatible wallet.
We currently have a supply of 1mm Chia Asset Tokens that we named: "Talons." If we are fortunate enough to need more in the future, we can access more.
Why We Like Chia
Computer users everywhere (including us) have extra hard drive space which can be used to farm Chia “XCH” in a super efficient, secure and decentralized network. This aligns with our sustainability goals.
The Chia Blockchain is only one year old but we are eager to experiment with its potential uses. Creating these Talons is our first project.
Chia is based upon an innovative consensus algorithm, Proof of Space and Time, that leverages the vast amounts of over-allocated hard drive space to create the first new Nakamoto Consensus since Bitcoin in 2009.
